The Good Acre was an idea that Pohlad family members turned into a reality. Their intention was to develop a multi-faceted initiative to improve the local food system for diverse, independent farmers and to increase access to healthy produce for all consumers regardless of income. Emily holds a BA in International Relations and minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a culinary degree from L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, MD.
